Every event has rules. These are ours:

The rules for the London-Tashkent are simple. We figured you will have enough complications en-route as it is...

1. Competing cars must be worth less than £100. They must look it too!

2. Once the rally is under way there will be no form of formal assistance from the organizers in any way. Teams are on their own!

3. All vehicles making the distance will register with the local London-Tashkent representitive and will then be sold for charity.

Keep in mind, you may need a lift

These are not rules, but are strongly recommended by those who have completed the rally already:

1. only two people per team. This will enable you to pick up members of another team whos car has broken down. Remember - it could be you who is stranded!
2. Reduce the amount of luggage you are carrying. It will always be too much.
3. We strongly request those who either drive back or sell their car on the way, to pass the appropriate amount to the control group selling the cars at the finishing post.
